Teens are encouraged to participate in the “Unearth a Story Reading Challenge” this summer. When teens read beyond their classroom assignments, research clearly shows they do well in school.
This year, we are doing something different. We will have a Reading Challenge available at the library for teens to pick up. Teens, for every five books you read from July 5 to August 15, your name will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a great prize. If you read all fifteen books, you will get an extra slip in the drawing. There is a limit of one prize per person.
The grand prize is a Kindle Fire 8 other prizes include a gift certificate for $20 at Kwik Trip, $15 at Pizza Hut, and $15 at Subway.
The Neillsville Public Library Foundation is providing funding for this program. For more information, call the Neillsville Public Library at 715-743-2558.
