Candy Making at the Library on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.

Local cake decorator Rachel McBride will be teaching how to use what’s in your cupboard to make some sweet decorations! We will be learning to make a pig, butterfly, flower, and one more to be revealed at the event. Event is free and sign-up is at the front counter.

Summer Teen Reading Program 2017 Starts Monday, July 10

Area teens are encouraged to participate in “ Build a Better World,” the teen reading program at the Neillsville Public Library. This fun program gives teens a chance for some great reading and prizes. Reading is not just important while teens are in school. Good reading skills are essential to future success in the workplace.

If you are a teen between the ages of 13 and 19, for each book you read from July 10 to August 16 you will have a chance to win some great prizes. The prizes include: a gift certificate of $25 for Shopko Hometown, $20 for Subway, $15 for Pizza Hut, $10 for Hardees’ and $10 for Kwik Trip.

Register each time you read a book. The more books you read the better chance you have of winning. Winners will be notified August 18. There is limit of one prize per person. Adult Coloring Day Monday, August 28, 2017

Neillsville Public Library is hosting another adult coloring day. It will be all day. Come and take a break from your busy lives and have fun coloring!
